New phenomena ? No, mostly repetitions of the past, but causing extreme confusion to the small, medium and novice investor who having lost their savings and are now fearful of future investment.
Oddly enough, during this same period vast fortunes were being accumulated - for money, like water, doesn’t totally disappear, it merely moves into more accommodating surroundings.
